Unemployment rising - recession accelerating

News was not good today when it was announce that 2 million jobs were lost in 2009 so far. 13 million people are looking for jobs. Millions more are discouraged and have dropped out of the job market.

Obama stated the US wants to be a partner with europe. With the world economy in shambles and 2 million jobs lost in the US thus far in 2009, things look bleak. Obama is turning to our allies for help change the world's economic outlook.

Will G20 agreement end recession?

Obama has stated that the G20 agreement will be a turning point. The 20 Countries pledged $1 trillion for the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and other global institutions for individual countries to draw on to restore credit, economic growth and jobs.
